Girls Night Out

The clock struck midnight, and the quiet hum of the cafรฉ was the perfect backdrop for the night Siya, Priya, and Aashvi had been looking forward to. This was their time to relax, laugh, and escape the chaos of school.

Aashvi stirred her hot chocolate, glancing nervously at the door. "I can't believe we actually managed to sneak out without anyone finding out."

Siya smirked. "Why would anyone find out? No one cares about what we do."

Priya leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms. "Still, Aashvi, you look like you're expecting your parents to show up any second."

"Not my parents," Aashvi mumbled. "But what if... someone else shows up?"

Siya raised an eyebrow. "Someone else? Like who?"

Before Aashvi could respond, Priya waved her hand dismissively. "Stop overthinking, Aashvi. This is our night. No boys, no drama, just coffee and peace."

Aashvi gave a small smile, but her heart raced at the thought of Eshanโ€”the boy she could barely muster the courage to say more than a few words but didn't speak.

Unbeknownst to the girls, Yash had overheard their secret plans earlier in the day. His curiosityโ€”and competitive streakโ€”got the better of him. So, he'd roped in Krishiv and Eshan, conveniently leaving out the fact that the girls had explicitly tried to avoid them.

As the boys entered the cafรฉ, Yash smirked. "Look who we have hereโ€”our hardworking, rule-abiding classmates, breaking all the rules."

Siya froze mid-sip of her coffee. Her eyes narrowed as she turned to face him. "Yash. Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?"

(What are you doing here?)

Krishiv, catching up to Yash, grinned. "Humne socha, thoda fun kar lein. Tum log yahan ho, aur hume pata bhi nahi?"

(We thought to have fun but we didn't think that you all will be here.)

Priya groaned. "Fun? Tum log toh shanti barbaad karne aaye ho."

(Fun? You all came here to destroy our peace)

Eshan, who looked equally clueless about the whole situation, hesitated before sitting down next to Aashvi. "Uh, by the way why are we all here?"

Aashvi nearly dropped her spoon. She felt a blush creeping up her cheeks but couldn't bring herself to say anything.

Siya shot Yash a glare. "Seriously, Yash? Don't you have any work to do?"

Yash smirked, leaning casually against the table. "No I don't have any work so thought I'd join in."

Priya rolled her eyes. "Oh, we know that you don't have work that's why you came here right?"

Krishiv leaned toward Priya, a mischievous grin on his face. "Kya tumhe kabhi lagta hai, Priya, ki tumhare life mein thoda sa masala missing hai? Like... main?"

(Do you ever think about it Priya in your life a little bit of spices are missing like... me?)

Priya raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "Masala? Tumhe dekh kar toh mujhe indigestion hone lagta hai."

(Spices? Just looking at you makes me feel indigestible.)

Eshan snorted, while Aashvi covered her laugh with her hand.

Siya stood up, pointing a finger at Yash. "Tumhe koi haq nahi humare night-out plans ko khrab karne ka."

(You don't have any right to ruin our night-out plans)

Yash crossed his arms, his smirk never faltering. "Khrab? Tumhare plans itne weak hai toh main kya kar sakta hoon?"

(Ruin? Your plans are so weak, so what should I do for that?)

Siya stepped closer, her voice sharp. "Weak? There is nothing weaker than your overconfidence."

Yash took a step closer, their rivalry crackling in the air. "At least my plans have a backbone. Not like your plans which in one ek conversation got heard and surprise! exposed."

"Ugh, tum itne irritating ho!" Siya snapped, her cheeks flushed with irritation.

Priya leaned toward Krishiv, whispering loud enough for everyone to hear. "Mujhe lagta hai Siya aur Yash ke arguments par ek Netflix series ban sakti hai."

(I think on the arguments of Siya and Yash we can make a Netflix series.)

Krishiv grinned. "Haan, aur uska naam hoga 'Kabhi Coffee Kabhi Fight.'"

(Yes, and the name will be 'Kabhi Coffee Kabhi Fight.')

Siya shot them a look. "Not helping, Krishiv!"

While Siya and Yash argued, Aashvi tried to focus on her drink, but the fact that Eshan was sitting next to her was making her heart race. She opened her mouth to say somethingโ€”anythingโ€”but no words came out.

Eshan noticed her fidgeting and gave her a small smile. "Tum theek ho? Coffee pasand nahi aayi kya?"

(Are you alright? Didn't you like the coffee)

Aashvi shook her head quickly. "N-nahi! Coffee toh... bahut achhi hai."

(No. Coffee is good. I like it.)

Eshan nodded, glancing around awkwardly. "Good. Warna mujhe laga, humne tumhara moment khrab kar diya."

(Good. I thought we ruined your movement.)

Aashvi looked up, startled. "Nahi, bilkul nahi! Tum... tum kaise ho?"

(No, absolutely not. How are you?)

Eshan gave her a kind smile. "Main theek hoon. Tum kaafi nervous lag rahi ho."

(I'm fine. You look like your nerves.)

Aashvi blushed deeper, wishing the floor would swallow her whole red.

Meanwhile, Priya was trying to eat her sandwich in peace, but Krishiv was relentless.

"Priya, ek baat batao," Krishiv said, leaning toward her. "Tumhe kya lagta hai, mera best feature kya hai?"

(Priya tell me a one thing. Which feature of me you like the most.)

Priya didn't even look up. "Tumhari exit skills."

(Your exit skills)

Krishiv laughed. "Tumhari sarcasm ki toh main fan hoon. Lekin kabhi seriously socha? Maybe I'm the one."

(I'm fan of your sarcasm. But ever thought about it seriously?)

Priya finally looked at him, deadpan. "Haan, 'the one' jo sabse zyada irritate karta hai."

(Yes, it is 'the one' that irritates the most)

Krishiv clutched his heart dramatically. "Tumhare harsh words mujhe deeply hurt karte hain."

Priya smirked. "Good. Mission accomplished."

As the cafรฉ began to wind down, the tension between Siya and Yash seemed to settleโ€”though their rivalry was far from over.

Yash leaned closer to Siya as they were leaving. "I think it will be necessary to spend more time with you. You will have to learn to handle competition."

Siya glared at him. "And I think I need to show you the treatment for your overconfidence."

Priya, watching them, turned to Aashvi. "Even a dailyshop doesn't have this much drama."

Krishiv chimed in. "Aur har dailyshop mein ek love story hoti hai, right?"

(And in every dailyshop there is one love story right?)

Priya shot him a glare. "Tumhari life ki love story toh flop hone wali hai."

(Your life love story is about to flop.)

Eshan chuckled softly as Aashvi tried to stifle her laughter. you all are so entertaining" he said, shaking his head.

As the group walked back, the girls went to Siya's home and the boys went to their respective home as this night for them is dynamic and so many things happen at this short period.
